Shibganj Integrated Development Society (SIDS) is a grass root level organization working in the remote area of Sundarbans under the district of South 24 Parganas of West Bengal in India. SIDS is a non-profit making. Non-government, non-political and non-religious voluntary organization. The organization consisting of retired persons, govt. employees and social minded qualified youths.

The organization has a proper constitution or articles of association. The organization has a properly constituted managing body with its power and duties clearly defined in the constitution. The organization is in a position to secure the involvement on voluntary basis of knowledgeable persons for furtherance of its programs. It not be run for the profit of any individual or a body of individuals. It not discriminate against any person or group of persons on the ground of sex, religion, caste or creed.  It is not in any manner incite communal disharmony.

The organization geographically located at 20 km. away from the Bay of Bengal. Nearest railway station is kakdwip, 18 km far from the SIDS office. Kolkata, the capital city of west Bengal is 120 k.m.far from the office.  From Kolkata, the area is connected by W.B. surface transport corporation. It takes about 4.5 hours to reach the nearest bus station namely Pathar Pratima Bazar.
